The primary responsibility in my role is to ensure the maintenance and updating of all records regarding land, buildings, structures, utility, and re-locatable properties for the installation, reflecting acquisitions, demolitions and modifications. This includes data collection, validation, and ensuring data integrity in the internet Navy Facilities Assets Data Store (iNFADS). I assist GRC staff at the installation and Facility Engineering Command (FEC) levels in reconciling real property records and related information between iNFADS and NAVFAC’s Geographical Information System (GIS). These efforts are essential to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records that are crucial for decision-making and operational purposes.My duties include conducting asset evaluations, monitoring and tracking footprint reduction goals and their execution, and preparing real property and Facilities Reduction Program (FRP) accuracy certificates for ICO signature. I meticulously verify the retention of essential financial documentation as per the Transfer and acceptance of real property procedures. I am an integral part of the Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) process, providing support for all Audits of Real Property. I also prepare and deliver technical briefings, provide technical consultations, and produce special reports for senior leadership and technical experts at installation, FEC, NAVFAC, CNIC, and varying levels of authority are essential to my role.

I interpreted engineering and architectural plans and enforced safety practices and regulations. Additionally, I was involved in budget development, estimating labor, material, and construction expenses. I was responsible for preparing scopes of work, initiating inquiries, obtaining quotations, coordinating with contractors and clients, and managing all necessary coordination efforts. My duties also included inviting bids, collecting price quotations, evaluating prices, awarding work to contractors, reviewing work schedules, ensuring quality control, and managing all project-related tasks.

Additionally, I collaborate with engineers from various disciplines, such as civil and mechanical to streamline the construction process. I conduct thorough inspections of completed installations and monitor their functioning to guarantee adherence to specifications and operational safety standards.My role has also involved studying and evaluating customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other relevant data to assess the practicality, costs, and upkeep demands for a given design or application. Regular tasks included estimating project costs, submitting bids for engineering, construction, or extraction projects, and drafting contract documents. I have also organized project coordination meetings involving internal team members, external consultants, owners, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.

To perform these duties effectively, I utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment. Moreover, I carry out system calculations and studies for electrical power systems, including load flow, voltage drop, motor starting, short circuit studies, and relay coordination studies.
