I’ve always crafted every detail at birthday parties, girl’s night or church activities, so when I showed up to my friend’s party ready to decorate for HER event, it was no surprise. I keep no secret about my passion for enhancing the beauty of ordinary experiences, transforming them into memories that will last forever, and let me tell you why. While designing college events for Raintree Commons as a leasing specialist, I immersed the students in dance parties with vibrant lights in the pool, viral music, and soft serve ice cream bars. I ensured smooth execution of every detail, down to the last bag of chips. Striving to communicate with each student at our socials, I connected groups of friends together, establishing a feeling of home. Asking crucial questions such as “What can be improved here at Raintree?”, or “What was your favorite part of the Run for Provo?” prompted re-designing event details, leading to increased sign on’s for the next year. Students still talk to their friends about the Polar Plunge event and how unique the experience was.
