Projects include guiding leadership and culture transformation projects with 1) Riverford Organic Farmers in Devon England through their transition into Employee Ownership (2017-2022); continuing to work with the Executive and other teams as required (2017-present)2) Hardwick Estate in South Oxfordshire England, currently transitioning from private ownership to a community led charitable structure; and 3) Kin Hill CIC in Cumbria, England also transitioning from private ownership to collective stewardship / land based education enterprise. 4)working with Alastair MacKenzie in his role at Real Farming Trust to develop a platform for landholders who wish to explore new ways of working and stewarding the land. Kanada is an Associate Executive Coach with Common Purpose Charitable Trust since 2010.With her colleague Chiz Williams, Kanada founded Kin, with the purpose of strengthening grassroots community makers, youth workers, activists, artists, environmentalists, social workers - all of those who care for their communities often with very little funding, training or support. Kanada began consulting in 1995. Her approach is systemic and pragmatic, intuitive and results-oriented. It is grounded in her understanding of the transformational power of presence; the recognition that we are not only physical and mental beings, but also emotional and spiritual ones; and her appreciation that at the heart of all successful change initiatives are personal responsibility, awareness and choice.Her background in the visual arts, opera and theatre - directing, leading community theatre projects, teaching improvisation and coaching actors, singers and musicians primarily in the UK informs her approach to facilitating change. In 1996 she was invited to bring her skills as an artist, director, improviser and facilitator into the realm of organisation and people development. Kanada is an ICF qualified coach.
