I design and facilitate short-term programs overseas, providing youth with educational, authentic, and experiential opportunities that allow themselves to explore themselves and the world by immersing themselves in a different culture.

I was on a 10-month residency program at High Tech High Mesa, one of the 16 K-12 High Tech High Schools (HTHs). I co-taught 10th grade Humanities and Theatre class for five full days a week with experienced mentor teachers. This experienced allowed me to take a deep dive into deeper learning and Project Based Learning (PBL) pedagogies. HTHs are charter schools in San Diego, guided by four design principles: Equity, Personalization, Authentic Work, and Collaborative design.
