My journey into DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) began with meaningful fieldwork that gave me firsthand insight into the unique challenges faced by individuals from diverse backgrounds, including people with disabilities, the transgender community, youth of rural places, and underprivileged children. I also had the opportunity to teach deaf students in Indian Sign Language, a role that deepened my commitment to inclusion. This field experience not only provided me with a practical understanding of accessibility needs but also allowed me to advocate for equal employment opportunities. Additionally, I’m fluent in Indian Sign Language, and I spent three years as an interpreter, making vital spaces more accessible.With over eight years of experience, I’m now a Senior Manager at Rainmaker, where I lead impactful initiatives in Culture, Brand, and People Engagement. My work in Culture is grounded in developing Accessibility Audits, Disability Sensitization, and customized frameworks that promote respect, equity, and inclusivity across the board. My approach involves conducting in-depth research to design high-quality, tailored content for clients, covering areas like Leadership Development, Women in Leadership, Addressing Bias, and fostering a Culture of Compliance.People Engagement is also a key focus, where I develop initiatives that connect employees with a shared vision, fostering team resilience and unity.
