I am a dedicated, ambitious gymnastics coach and biology undergraduate student, with an emphasis on a pre-medical tract. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in biology, and two minors in both chemistry and history. I have obtained my NREMT certification and license, and volunteer with it. I have 4 years of coaching experience, and a total of 13 years of gymnastics experience. I thrive in fast-paced, unpredictable, and challenging environments. In addition to coaching and pursuing my Bachelor of Arts in biology, I am using my certification and license as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to volunteer and intern in hospitals and private practices. So far, I have my certifications in NREMT, CPR, and safe sport, which is required by USAG (U.S.A. Gymnastics) to coach gymnastics.I strive to create a safe gym environment where my gymnasts can feel confident in their ability to perform the challenging skills that they are faced with. I use many techniques such as individual sessions, interactive peer review performances, and skill build-ups to make my gymnasts feel more successful in their abilities. My goal is to develop teaching policies that emphasize teamwork, personal development, and sportsmanship. For me, helping and communicating with people are both professional pursuits and labors of enjoyment.
