I successfully earned my CPA in 2022 after graduating from the Ivey Business School at Western University in 2017 with a combination of tradition accounting firm experience at EY and industry experience. Since obtaining my designation I have spent time as a company Controller for a private enterprise, a Financial Analyst for a private, publicly owned utility, and am currently the Chief Financial Officer of Lor-Don Limited, a large and well-established custom metal fabricator. Overseeing a small finance team, I manage all aspects of the company’s financial operations and participate in the overall daily management and decision making for the entire organization with a focus on cost reduction strategies and efficiency improvements.My experience has provided me with an extensive understanding of the challenges small and mid-sized business face, and also how to successfully address and overcome some of those challenges with improvements and changes to processes, people, and technology.
