English born and Canadian raised. Moving from Milton Keynes, England to Kawartha Lakes, Ontario at the age of seven I adapted quickly from the city life of Britain to the country life of rural Ontario. I have a great sense of adventure and so I love to travel at any chance I can get. Whether it's camping, biking, or backpacking I enjoy getting out into the world and seeing as much as I can. I attended the University of Ottawa and earned a Joint Honours in History and Political Science. While at uOttawa I was involved in many campus clubs and activities while also occasionally writing opinion pieces for the student newspaper "The Fulcrum". Towards the end of my undergraduate my classes were shifted to distance learning as an impact form the Covid-19 Pandemic. During this period I gained valuable experience with many virtual meeting platforms.Currently I am studying Project Management at Algonquin College in Ottawa.My professional experience has mostly been concerned with not-for-profit work in the culture, heritage, and tourism industry. Throughout my work I have gained valuable experience in project planning, fundraising event coordination, and maintaining a positive presence among the community. Currently I am a volunteer board director for the Kawartha Lakes Museum and Archives.
