Middle leader, PS2/3 lead, Senior Student Mentor, Health & Well-being and Sport lead, DCF lead, Former Foundation learning lead.My vision for schools is to increase child and staff wellbeing by creating positive, non-judgemental, fun and engaging environments resulting in increased levels of progress and motivation for all stakeholders.My career in teaching has led me to gain valuable experience across all age groups in primary, quickly progressing into leadership and leading Foundation Learning and now Key Stage 2 (PS2/3). I have a particular interest in using innovative teaching methods to support the learning of children and student teachers. I am not afraid of failure and believe that trying new things maintains motivation and interest.I have recently been involved with an innovative project that earned the UWTSD NEXUS Innovative Practice Award 2024 and has been used as a Good Practice Case Study shared with Welsh Government.
