Nobl.ai is a tech startup (and UGent spin-off) that provides trustworthy AI models for HR and the labour market including recommender systems, job ontology mapping/normalization, career coaching and more.

I am co-advising master and Ph.D. students in various projects.

I was leading Tijl’s ERC PoC project “FEAST”, which became a UGent spin-off: Nobl.ai. I was also involved in multiple projects from the Flanders AI Research (FLAIR) consortium, focusing on topics: AI-assisted data exploration (WP3), trustworthy AI (WP5), industrial use case on public employment services (WP8-T8.3). I was also co-advising master and Ph.D. students in various other projects.

I gave lectures in the Generative AI Course and supervised the laboratory classes in the Big Data Science Course.

I worked on Tijl's ERC grant project FORSIED (Formalising Subjective Interestingness in Exploratory Data Mining). My primary research areas include data mining and machine learning, and more specifically dimensionality reduction algorithms for visualization.

I was working on a dimensionality reduction method that removes known factors from the lower dimensional representations.
