Project architect on a commercial project currently in construction in Ringwood, contributing to a GFA exceeding 20,000 sqm and NLA of 12,000 sqm opposite the Eastland Shopping Centre. Equipped with sustainable design features leading to the achievement of 6-star NABERS and 5-star Green Star ratings, it is a sophisticated commercial building seeking to be the destination for pioneering businesses with wellbeing at focus. I was involved from the building permit application process, to town planning secondary consent application and construction stages. Coordinated with the consultants/stakeholders and delivered construction drawing packages for staged building permit applications. Performed contractual obligations under a D&C contract during construction, including reviewing shop drawings, responding to the builder’s RFIs, prepared performance solutions, prepared monthly design consultant reports for monthly invoicing, regularly undertook site inspections, including the facade VMU inspection, and resolved any onsite issues with the contractor.Worked closely with the facade contractor and the contractors in the production of visual mock up units of the building facade for inspection. Liaised with the project consultant team and contractors using Autodesk BIM360 and Aconex, including coordinating services and structure with the consultant team and the contractor/subcontractors.Collaborated with the office’s BIM manager to enhance the Revit development of the office, including its library and workflows.
