- Identification and evaluation of new viable technologies and companies for existing or future solutions (horizontal, vertical business opportunities).- Scout for new external partners in all relevant industries (startups and large corporations).- Partner with all divisions, functions, R&D to identify external business and technology needs.- Support in building long-term relationships with external companies/suppliers/universities/federal laboratories that are likely to develop technology solutions in specialization/areas of interest.- Promote and sell potential partners/ideas/technologies to a wide-range of internal stakeholders.- Transfer new technologies with the objective of commercializing new technologies quickly.- Conduct the assessment of novel technologies/solutions.- Document findings from scouting activities and effectively sharing with peers and facilitating future re-use.

- Responsible for the application integration and development of electronic brake controls which include slip control systems, autonomous braking systems and vacuum-less brake-by-wire.- Responsible for all subjective and objective vehicle performance metrics in over 15 brake control subsystems.- Modify core software for specific customer vehicle applications and manage CR’s into change control tool (PTC Integrity).- Interpret customer requirements from DOORS and implement into software (C code).- Co-development with other functional teams to ensure proper signal and feature implementation.- Develop new features and verify/validate functionality based on customer program objectives and requirements.- Contribute to software design reviews and pitch new concepts to feature stakeholders.- Anticipate, identify and propose solutions in advance to ensure program milestones are met.- Collaborated with internal and external customer project engineers to develop timing plans.- Form test plans for development team and follow through to execution.- Receive field issues, root cause and provide quality resolution to the customer.- Practical knowledge of vehicle dynamics and able to evaluate a vehicle up to and beyond the limits of traction.- Lead final performance sign off events with customers and internal management.- Involved with future technology demo rides for a wide array of potential customers.- Global program involvement including, EU, China and India.- Mentoring of 3 integration engineers through their respective programs and technical development.- Responsible for technical direction of 8 calibration and validation engineers.
