D. in computer science at the University of Southern California (USC), with a specialization in computer vision, machine learning and artificial intelligence. My dissertation focuses on facial landmark detection and face recognition related problems. Prior to my doctorate, I spent five and half years at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) attempting to deepen my understanding of humanoid robots (especially robot vision and intelligence) and the cognitive architecture that controls these robots.I received both Bachelor's and Master's degree from Seoul National University (Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering) with a focus on Mechanical Engineering.I am a positive and flexible person with a good sense of humor. Able to work under pressure and within a team being energetic and reliable, with good problem-solving abilities.
