After playing baseball in both the US and Korea, I’ve gained invaluable experience and insights into the sport, shaped by two different yet similar cultures and styles of play. These experiences have fueled my mission to create opportunities for kids to engage in baseball, build friendships, and develop social skills and sportsmanship.During the 2024 season, I worked as a Development Coach with the Jays Care Foundation, fostering a supportive environment where children could interact, connect, and enhance their social skills. By facilitating skill development and organizing games with other schools, I helped them understand the importance of sportsmanship. Additionally, I work with the Toronto Blue Jays Activation Team, where I manage promotions, events, setups, and teardowns for various activations throughout the season.Currently, I am pursuing a diploma in Recreation and Leisure Services at Humber Polytechnic, where I am learning the fundamentals of creating effective recreational programs and developing leadership skills to guide participants. Additionally, I hold a bachelor’s degree in Youth Education and Leadership, with a double major in Sports Studies. These three academic backgrounds equip me with a powerful skill set that integrates sports education, recreational activities, and a deep understanding of the sports industry.
