As a Machine Learning Engineer at UbiLab - University of Waterloo, I apply my expertise in health informatics to design and deploy data-driven solutions for human activity recognition and health indicator prediction. I leverage Python, PyCaret, Azure Databricks, and Apache Spark MLlib to automate data pre-processing, model training, comparison, analysis, and visualization, improving work efficiency and processing speed.I am also a PhD Candidate in the School of Public Health Sciences, where I conduct research on data mining and visualization techniques for wearable and smart home sensors. I have published multiple papers in prestigious journals and conferences, and received a Mitacs Research Internship at the University of Strathclyde.
