Hello! I am a second year B.Sc. Co-op student majoring in cellular, molecular and microbiology. Along with my undergrad I am working as a customer service representative in Petro Canada and volunteering at Royal Inland Hospital as a way finder. From the beginning of my 1st year I have been engaging in multiple activities and securing A's in each course. I have secured my name in dean's list two times in a row (Fall 2023 and Winter 2024). My strengths are time management, quick-learning, being adaptable and willing to learn new concepts. My supervisors would describe me as hard-working, curious and excellent. I am a cheerful and happy person who likes to dance, listen to songs and read books in my free time. Visiting new places with my friends or family is a refreshing experience for me. From a long time I have been reading various discoveries made in research labs that has been used for community welfare. Getting exposed to these discoveries have inspired me to work in lab to expand or discover something helpful and easily accessible for a wide variety of people. I have been deeply concentrated in my studies and securing excellent score every time. I am known for my consistency and dedication in every work I have done. Apart from that in TRU, I have taken part in research rookie program that helped me get aware about how different disciplines conduct research and how can we engage in one. Through my co-op my goal is to secure a work-term in chemistry/biology/biochemistry labs and develop skills useful for my future career.
