When I first entered the field of Marketing, I remember feeling overwhelmed. There was so much to explore and learn. I didn't know where to begin. So, five months into my job, I convinced my Boss to let me lead a marketing campaign for a new product launch. In many ways, that campaign marked the beginning of when Marketing and I truly hit it off. Leading a campaign from acquisition, engagement to monetization stages across a brand’s channels (Website, E-mail and Social Media) was like watching a million pieces of an intricate jig-saw puzzle come together. It was fascinating! By the end of the campaign, my team and I had not just surpassed the Sales Goals for the product but I had also learned what continues to remain my most important lesson in Marketing.There really is no ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to people and their buying behaviors - which is why I am constantly researching, experimenting, and learning what works alongside what doesn't. And I absolutely love the process! It makes work feel less like work and more like play :)
