Worked via the Standard Kaizen methodology on Float atmosphere management towards Flake analysis in Glass Manufacturing Float Line of SGIPL. Float Glass manufacturing requires bottom ceramic refractories in float lines and manufacturers always have faced a problem of Nepheline Flake formations in the bottom refractories, which cause various issues in the production. My project aimed at finding the root cause for the formation of Nepheline layers and decelerate further formation. The report compiled at the end of the project was submitted to the Saint Gobain Research Institute (SGRI).

Worked via the Standard Kaizen methodology on deriving the optimum sealant flow rate settings in the TPS sealing robot in the Advanced Fire Glass Processing line of SGIPL. The project involved standardizing sealant flow rate settings in the Thermo Plastic Sealing robot to strike a balance between excess sealant application & air holeformation and in the process trying to reduce the average excess consumption of sealant.

As a part of the Management Trainee induction, I underwent a month each of theoretical and on field induction in the Float, Coater, Mirror, Sekurit & Solutions plants of the World Glass Complex of Saint Gobain India, the single largest investment of Saint Gobain across the world.

Worked via the Standard Kaizen (SK) methodology on a project titled "DOE on Factors affecting CASS", in the Mirror Plant of SGIPL, Chennai. The work involved identifying factors in the mirror production which affect the corrosion values of the mirror samples obtained at the end of the CASS (Cupro Accelerated Acetic Salt Spray) test, which is a standard durability test on mirrors as specified by the European Norm EN1036.

In the turbulent world we face ourselves in, Character along with Competence is highly essential for an overall success of both the individual as well as the organization. DHRUVA, a Character and Value based personality development club, present in various IITs & NITs, aims at bridging the gap between the Character & Competence of talented individuals, by the means of Culture.

Worked on developing a MATLAB-based tool for understanding the behavior of nonlineartime series data under Dr. Madhavi V. Sardeshpande, Scientist, CSIR-NCL. The projectwork involved performing Time-series analysis using MATLAB on the Temperature vs Time datacollected for a CPC Solar panel and figuring out the flow regimes that were causing fluctuations inthe graphs obtained.
