Float Glass manufacturing requires bottom ceramic refractories in float lines and manufacturers always have faced a problem of Nepheline Flake formations in the bottom refractories, which cause various issues in the production. My project aimed at finding the root cause for the formation of Nepheline layers and decelerate further formation. The report compiled at the end of the project was submitted to the Saint Gobain Research Institute (SGRI). -
