I was one of the three founding members of Xinova's engineering team. We architected Xinova's new platform and successfully moved the company's workflows from a 10-year-old legacy system to microservices based highly scalable and performant system in under 6 months. During the course, we simplified the system from millions of lines of code to ~70k lines while improving performance and scalability. I designed and implemented key platform infrastructures like event bus and pubsub libraries. As an expert in Analytics and big data, I designed and implemented Xinova's data pipeline for the platform. This enabled seamless data collection, metrics, monitoring, data warehouse and analytics platform for Xinova.

Atlas Recall, our first product to created a searchable photographic memory of a user's digital life. It constantly creates, uploads and organizes snapshots from the user's machine which then can be recalled at a later time through a powerful search interface. The collected data about user's online footprint unlocked several machine learning scenarios that the users can benefit from.I built the data pipeline in the platform and enabled experimentation, devops and machine learning for the platform. I built part of the search experience that helped users to group their data based on activity type. I owned the analytics and user insights pipeline and also built the social aspect of the product, boards. Apart from being a platform engineer I also built integrated mac experience for the product. This feature exposed Atlas's search capability from users' mac spotlight interface.

Served as a consultant for Bing-external projects like Xbox integration, Windows 8 search, Office integration and Bing-Yahoo collaboration, ensured data captured is relevant and the metrics are meaningful.

Development of retail banking product for NEC Japan. Creation of distributed back end services that support large scale banking with complex business rules. My Role: Founding member of tools team.Successfully conceived and developed a “code generator” tool that automated the process of converting object specifications sent by customer in Excel format to C++ code. The code generator was a huge success and nearly 200 members of the team used it to generate C++ code.

Designed and built an RNN to predict hourly power demand in an electric substation. After training the RNN with about a year of data (from the substation logs), we were successfully able to predict the demand within an error margin of 3%.
