I worked as a "Biology Researcher" at the Institut Mondor de Recherche Biomédicale for 4 years, where I carried out applied, pre-clinical and clinical research into "Inflammatory diseases".My research work gave me in-depth knowledge of drug development (target validation) and raised my awareness of the concept of "personalized care", which enables better patient management.My various achievements include: - promotion of my research results (publication of 7 articles, participation in national and international conferences)- setting up scientific collaborations (academic researchers, medical doctors)- setting up industrial partnerships (pharmaceutical industry)- search for funding (responding to calls for proposals)On the strength of my experience in academic research, I decided to join ideXlab, a company that enables R&D companies to set up scientific collaborations with external partners through Open Innovation. At ideXlab I work as an 'Open Innovation Specialist', which involves a number of different tasks:- "R&D Project Manager" for our clients in the pharmaceutical industry - "Business Developer" to ensure the promotion of our tool- "Open Innovation Evangelist" to industrial R&D teamsI've been lucky enough to live in different countries (UK, Senegal, Zimbabwe, Saudi Arabia, France), which gives me an open mind and good interpersonal skills.I'm fluent in 3 languages: English, French and Wolof (Senegalese).
