● Conduct equity-centered assessments of current internal policies and procedures● Identify current practices that may be barriers to an inclusive and equitable workplace● Work in collaboration with leadership team, human resources and staff to identify key performance indicators (KPIs), design and develop comprehensive work plans and timelines aimed at helping employees develop skills, strategies, common language, cultural awareness, and frameworks to implement key racial equity and DEI priorities● Provide project management and training for staff to begin implementing work plans

● Cultivate safe and trauma-informed learning environments.● Lead virtual and in-person sexual harassment training sessions focusing on bullying, workplace abuse and/or workplace culture topics● Ensure content delivery is culturally sensitive and accessible to meet the needs of diverse groups and various workplace settings

● Manage and supervise a diverse team of individuals across the US; provide development and coaching to supervisees through weekly supervision and coaching● Facilitate communication and collaboration between the Microgrants team and the wider organization● Establish and cultivate relationships with partner organizations and expand the program's reach through capacity-building programs and technical assistance● Manage and structure the Microgrants budget to ensure the financial stability of the department● Maintain and update technical applications and tools used for program advocacy such as the ticketing system, application process, and volunteer engagement

● Conduct thorough current-state assessment of Side By Side’s recruitment and hiring practices including data collection and analysis of candidate demographic and employee advancement● Bring various external models of team leadership to the management team. Help management team decide which model(s) are most supportive of agency’s DEI goals● Work with Side By Side CEO and senior leadership team to review data and produce recommendations based on long-term DEI goals of improving recruitment, employee retention and promotion, workplace culture and service delivery● Attend regular meetings, check-ins, observations and/or working sessions to help management team implement “desired state”

● Manage all aspects of the daily operations of the LGBTQ Community Center including but not limited to staffing, budgeting, programming and maintenance● Monitor the progress of youth participants through supervision and team meetings with program staff ● Represent the needs of the program as part of the SBS senior leadership team● Establish mechanisms to assure the quality of the program including documentation, standards of practice, and compliance with external regulatory agencies● Research and develop LGBTQ-specific fundraising and grant writing opportunities and strategies● Represent agency at public and assigned forums● Write and submit monthly data and reports on demographics, service delivery and level of care for all clients

● Manage a team of up to 10 youth and supervise planning of East Bay Youth Pride and Queer Love including budget oversight, project coordinating and task delegation● Provide mentorship, child welfare, educational and medical advocacy to 15-20 queer and trans foster youth● Design, develop, implement and coordinate detailed queer and trans competency training for providers serving LGBTQ and systems-impacted youth● Work with teachers and school administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) according to strengths, challenges and social-emotional support

● Skillfully craft stories for funders and donors that center the directly impacted people who lead the organization's work● Maintain active and responsive relationships with funders and donors● Engage and empower staff and base to have an active role in grassroots fundraising efforts● Set strategic fundraising goals to increase and maintain financial solvency and the Development team’s capacity● Coordinate with the Executive Director to develop strategic proposals for funders and manage key funder relationships ● Produce and submit narrative and budgetary reports for grants

● Design, adapt, develop and implement trans-centered sexual health curriculum on a variety of health topics including HIV and STI prevention, pregnancy prevention, healthy relationships and consent, etc.● Utilize trauma-informed, healing-centered, harm reductive, and consent driven sexuality practices● Develop culturally relevant nutrition and cooking curriculum for students ages 9-14● Identify and cultivate collaborations with community partners

● Support the Cook Supervisor and Executive Sous Chef with all kitchen functions● Carefully prep and prepare products according to recipes● Maintain orderly and clean work areas in line with Texas Food Handlers guidelines● Follow established food safety, cleaning and maintenance procedures● Monitor and communicate all safety measures and regulations throughout the kitchen to staff and report any injuries or unsafe conditions ● Control and document product waste and spoilage● Understand the regulations and philosophies of the Texas Child Nutrition Program (CNP) and the National School Lunch Program (NSLP)

● Plan and organize a monthly, two-hour-long racial equity workshop for up to thirty participants● Develop training curricula with a team of up to three facilitators based on the principles of anti-oppression programming that centers the experiences of queer and trans people of color● Develop partnerships with other organizations to build a robust, cross-cultural professional network● Manage booking, email communications and social media presence
