I am in charge of assessing product opportunities, defining the product to be built and certifying the product. Main responsibilities are to analyze market requirement document (MRD), conduct market research, prepare product opportunity Assessment, organize product council meeting, define product road map/ strategy, serve as functional head for the products, run charter user programs, and ensure product quality and success. I am accountable for product, process, people and revenue. Under my leadership, - Eka acquired Encompass, a Energy Trading and Risk Management Software company out of Calgary. After the acquisition, product increase its footprint in revenue, customers, feature sets and grew its offshore development teams. - Eka Ags CTRM and Grower Portal products were released to handle origination business in Australia and the product has emerged as a number 1 CTRM player in Australia.- Eka released its first energy product serving oil and refined product customers using component based architecture. The product was built in web platform with customer participation and is getting rave reviews from clients, partners and industry pundits for its innovative design, seamless integration.- Eka released common derivative component for handling Exchange traded and OTC derivatives, common Risk component with built in FEA integration for VaR Analytics, Option Valuation, Position Limits and Stress Testing methods.- Eka released Dashboards with Business Intelligence Analytics for Position, P & L, exposure, cash flow reporting.- Eka introduced Commodity Analytics Cloud, a software platform, that helped Commodity trading companies that turned previously unavailable insights into key business areas so they can take action before competitors.
