Leadership of Healthcare’s largest Oracle ERP, in-charge of Architecture, Development, Solution delivery and Operations. Driving dev/ops team of technical and domain experts to develop, maintain and support the ERP Product that drives ~14B of healthcare business.

Leadership of global application management (GAMS) group charged with providing strategy, governance & support for the $18 billion GE Healthcare business. Scope included all ERP systems, custom developed applications, $12M budget, 100+ employees & 800 contractors who directly provide services to these systems. - Directed strategy, support, life-cycle management & governance for 600+ applications across the GE Healthcare portfolio. Services provided include application strategy & enhancement services and full life-cycle management resulting in savings of over $8 million annually.- Successfully led IT insourcing initiative to drive department from 92% outsourced to 60% in less than 9 months. This included the hiring of 100+ GE resources globally. Effort has resulted in an increase in technical competency, increased intellectual property retention, & 50% increase in productivity. - Led & facilitated driving down operating cost of applications through application rationalization, application retirements, move to cloud, server/data center retirements as well as cost savings through strong vendor management focusing on productivity, metrics & offshore leverage.- Successfully upgraded a large $14B Oracle R11 Instance (12K Users, 67 Countries, 115 Warehouses, 93M Transactions, 300+ interfaces) to R12. Ensured smooth transition to support teams with zero unplanned outages post go live. - Migrated from Solaris based ERP platforms to an Oracle Exadata/Exalogic Linux based platform for smaller ERP instances (VCP & LSc Instances) realizing an annual savings of $1.2M.- Led a team across all IT functions and implemented an IT wide Technical Career Path (TCP). This challenging endeavor required bridging the HR community, technical IT resources and IT Leadership from GEHC and other GE businesses.

- Led a global organization, managed a $6M base cost and capital expense budget, database builds for 150+ annual projects, vitality of 2000+ databases (Oracle, MS-SQL, Teradata, MySQL), and the automation of IT services. - As OpEx leader for databases, serving GE Healthcare business across 5+ data centers globally, led service strategy, service catalogue and continuous service improvement for Global Database Administration driving 99.95% database uptime, improvements in FTR for RFS & low MTTR for incidents.- Successfully led & drove large DBA vendor transition (110 resources, 3500 databases across Oracle, MS-SQL, Teradata & mySQL) with zero impact to business. Created a framework for large vendor transition while realizing savings of $1m in base cost and driving VOC results up by 10 points.- Transformed design, packaging, and delivery of IT service through automation. Architected a cloud automation framework and deployment of infrastructure components. Automated the deployment of OS, databases, web, and applications resulting in fast and reliable delivery of IT services.

- Drove $300k software & hardware cost savings through successful upgrade of Oracle Applications from 11.0.3 to 11.5.9, across different hardware platforms (from HP to Sun). Through in-depth knowledge of Oracle ERP internals ensured that upgrade and migration was done in 24 hours.- Led $500k cost saving in server consolidation and migration across data centers. Repeatedly achieved 99.99% uptime for ERP system through pro-active performance tuning, maintenance & capacity planning- Delivered productivity improvements across the organization while increasing capacity, keeping costs flat or lower, and providing 99.999% available to customers.
