In this project with Hasil Foundation, we are aiming to improve the nourishment levels of underprivileged students in Swiss Model High School, Lahore by providing them meals during school hours. My analysis of the anthropometrics reflected that 49% of the students are wasted (<5th percentile for weight for age) and 35% are stunted (<5th percentile height for age), therefore the aim of this contractual project is to design meal plans for all the students ensuring that the implementation is in accordance with the NGO's budget and operational means, along with meeting the needs of the student population.

I was the Lead Dietitian in the department where it was my job to to hire, train and monitor the work of all Dietitians, along with evaluating meal plans for adequate nutrition delivery to all patients in accordance to the Medical Nutrition therapy guidelines. Furthermore, regularly conducting rounds on patients floors to obtain feedback for patient satisfaction along with issues faced by staff regarding the services provided by my Dietitians, Dietitian Assistants and services aides. And lastly, working with the management team to ensure that budgeting, staffing and all services are going smoothly in the Nutrition section. I was able to work with a software development team to entirely shift my team's work from paper and carbons copies to a software system where all meal tickets were automatically printed and records were stored in the system which helped the department increase 60% efficiency, as errors decreased significantly and helped save 50% of the cost.

Part of the Healthy Lifestyle Clinic, which is a collaboration between Le Bonheur and UTHSC. The clinic leads the Pediatric Obesity Program, which is a community nutrition program aimed to increase the nutrition awareness and wellness of the people of Memphis. As a graduate assistant I am involved with data collection, data input, organization, literature review and background compilation, dietetic discussion module development for culinary medicine program etc.

This was a part-time job designed for Dietetics Seniors therefore I was able to work on this position 1 full academic year. It was a new position, which was created through collaboration between the Health and Recreation Center and the Human Science department.
