As a senior finance and administration staff of a $94.9 million USAID funded projected rolled out within West Africa sub region, I assisted within the finance and operations functions in undertaking roles ranging from financial management and reporting, payroll processing, conducting capacity building workshops for grants partners, conducting financial reviews and internal audits on our sub offices and grants partners as well as procurement of goods and services and providing logistics support for the project and its workshops, seminars and conferences in the sub region. My periodic financial review and audit of grantee financial activities led to the detection and reduction of incidence of fraud.
