CurrentI love to expand on the ‘limits’ I encounter! I believe that ‘limits” actually increase creativity! Many years ago I bought an Olympus camera. I bought it because it was small, lightweight (for the time) and thus easy to carry. As I progressed I bought lenses, a bag, tripods, and the list goes on. When the move to digital began I was dismayed. I’d invested quite a bit in stuff by then and it was all becoming useless.Well, a few years later, with my first iPhone, I discovered that now I had a camera everywhere I went, and I didn’t even need to think about it. No bags getting dusty in the back of my car. No forgetting to bring my camera with me. No losing a shot as I get stuff out and set up. All the photos you see were taken with an iPhone.I’m a spontaneous photographer. The only thing I plan is where to go, and sometimes not even that. Using my iPhone means that I’m actually free to concentrate on my responses to what I see and to what’s happening around me, I don’t have to get caught in my equipment. My photos are my response to the Awe I experience in my everyday life. Nature is SO surprising, you never know what she will share!
