I am a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years of experience in the finance and banking sector, working with leading companies in insurance, NBFCs, telecom, and manufacturing. I am currently the Financial Controller at Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd, a fast-growing bank that provides inclusive and affordable banking services to underserved segments of society.As a Financial Controller, I am responsible for FPNA, Business Strategy, Financial reporting, Regulatory reporting, Taxation, Accounts Payable, IT projects, strategic planning, Board Meetings and Audit Committees. I have also managed the financial aspects of subsidiaries and joint ventures, internal audits, and annual operating plans. I have received the CFO Next100 award three times for my outstanding performance and leadership in finance. Some of my notable achievements include mitigating tax liabilities of INR 400 crores, transitioning financials from I-GAAP to IFRS/IND AS, influencing the growth and profitability of a startup, optimizing costs and enhancing productivity through automation, and building a high-performing and winning culture in my team. I have strong problem-solving, analytical, and creative skills, and I am always driven to deliver results that exceed customer expectations.
