Millennium a leading American biopharmaceutical company with the global assets. Their mission is to deliver extraordinary medicines to patients with cancer worldwide. Their pipeline has more than 15 oncology investigational compounds that target a broad range of cancers.All of Millennium’s reporting modules which were in Cognos are being converted to Oracle Hyperion. I was part the team which was responsible for building the financial reporting model from scratch in Hyperion. I worked as a ETL designer and implementer of the ETL piece which moved data from the transactional system and the enterprise data warehouse to the customized Hyperion database.

EMC Corporation is a Fortune 500 which develops, delivers and supports information infrastructure, virtual infrastructure hardware, software, and services. EMC's product line ranges from enterprise storage arrays (VMax, Symmetrix), Virtualization(VMware), storage area networks, backup, recovery and information security(RSA Security).All of EMC's inventory and material management systems were orchestrated in oracle Apps and now they are being converted to SAP in an initiative called PROPEL. I worked as a member of the Global data warehouse team as a Senior Developer and Warehouse expert as part of the PROPEL effort. The GDW team was responsible for sourcing data from the SAP/BW warehouse and 11i system to populate the Revenue and Material management Dimensional model which was in turn used by OBIEE for reporting.

I work in BU in a initiative to replace the Legacy environment with a SAP application for HR,Purchase and Finance modules.This project involves Modernizing the Legacy data, Profiling it, Cleansing it and converting it as seed data on which the SAP engine runs on.This project we used a variety of tools to accomplish different tasks to get the data ready for SAP conversions. Informatica Rower Exchange with ADA-BASE connector was used to read data from Legacy and load it to Oracle staging area, used Change DataCapture(CDC) for incrementally loading and refreshing the changes using Mainframe PLogs, Used Informatica Data Analyzer (IDE) to profile the data according to Business rules and come up with Cleansing rules which were applied using features in Informatica Developer(IDQ) and Power Center. We used Informatica Power Center SAP plug-in to load data to SAP and read from it.To continue operations on Mainframe we Replenished SAP data into Mainframe in the Replenishment project in which we used Informatica SAP adapter and ADA-BASE adapter to load data back to mainframe.We used complex PL/SQL procedures to create loads where the sources were unreachable or in an source to which we had restricted accesses. Various Informatica tools were also used to load staging and Dimensional tables for Reporting which was done in Micro- Statagy, which replaced all of the Mainframe reporting requirements.

I worked as Senior ETL developer in COP in the Integration and Warehouse department. I was involved in two major inetiatives for COP:US Marketing Pricing Project phase I.Credit Card Settlement and Charge Back.The aim of this US Marketing Pricing Project is to build a warehouse of pricing data to analyze patterns in market demand for fossil flues, predict the pricing strategies of competitive businesses and price accordingly to get a competitive edge in the market while striking a balance between profit and maintaining market superiority.This aim of this Credit Card Settlement and Charge Back project is to collect Credit Card data from the millions of transactions of ConocoPhillips retail outlets across the United States to analyze, load data into a CC warehouse for Settlement & ChargeBack.
