He was most recently the Head of Operations at Wattpad, a global technology & media app used by 100M people around the world every month.Kapil is deeply passionate about helping people understand the broader world and tell their own stories within it. He led TEDxToronto for 5 years, helping craft TED talks for over 60 incredible leaders across the Greater Toronto Region, including front-line nurses, cabinet ministers, artists and founders.Kapil’s foundations in operational delivery and strategy development were shaped by his time managing the St Bartholomew’s Cardiac Hospital in England, running the strategy & delivery team in Ontario’s largest community hospital, and as a strategy consultant at McKinsey.Kapil has an MBA and Masters in Public Policy from Harvard University, a BA in Film Studies and BSC in Computer Science from Queen’s University.
