MAJOR ACTIVITIES, RESPONSIBILITIES/ PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITI:1.Preparation & updating the Incoming Inspection plans.2.Coordinating the incoming inspection activity.3.Updating GRN status in system(SAP, QWEB & PDG)4.Raising NCR in case of non conformance observed in the receipt or in line.5.Follow up for NCR closer with supplier India, China, Vietnam, Japan and Europe.6.Weekly communication of rejections to supplier.7.Monthly Supplier PPM calculation & communication to supplier.8.Weekly supplier quality related reporting. Day today Quality problem troubleshooting with suppliers processes at their end.9.Coordinating for closer report and timly implementation of Quality issues raised by Indian Suppliers supply to Harley with respective supplier quality engineer.10.Responsible for Supplier- organization relationship management.

Key Roles:-1. Patrolling of machining shop as per control plan & operation SWS.2. Implementation of Pokayoke (full proofing) devices on the shop floor to eliminate rejection due to unintentional human errors.3.Implementation of 5S, KAIZEN.4.Providing training to PDI inspector and operators on various job related tools/topics and their implementations. 5.Preparing PFD, PFMEA, PPAP, and Control plan.6. Member of Quality Circle & kaizen team.7.Control Plan preparation as per the PFD, PFMEA and Operation Standards.8. Preparation of Dimension and Visual Inspection Standards.9.Preparation of Master Sample and Limit Sample for Mass Production.10.Handling the Customer Complaints and take effective Countermeasures by using 7 QC Tools. And timely submission of counter measures to customer.

Part to part inspection as per check list.2. Sample inspection of incoming parts as per purchase parts list3. Visit at supplier end, do layout inspection & take overview of production line.4. Do 100% inspection or certified lot (to move to our plant) at supplier end if required.5. Update morning meeting board by defects faced at our internal customer.6. Arrange online & offline rework due body shop parts at customer end by taking help of production & VQA team.7. During any major NC verify total production of customer end.8. Provide OPL at our assembly line & do improvements to reduce defects at customer end.
