Full time hours as a full time student. Memorizing orders and working efficiently in a fast pace place of employment. Maintaining organization and positive customer service in a sometimes physically and mentally taxing environment.

At a stable with 50 horses, most of whom compete, required refining equine and safety skills. Working alone for both morning and night shifts I was responsible for moving horses, feeding, cleaning stalls, fixing pastures/electric fences, and moving supplies. I was also in charge of checking on and reporting the well being of all 50 horses at Shiloh.

Planning and organizing event centered around forming connections between children and nature, specifically horses. Sixteen horses and 250 children every week required meticulous planning and a well trained staff. Along with our Program Director and one other Assistant Program Leader, I helped supervise, direct, and teach a staff of twelve.

Responsible for the care-taking of eleven full sized horses and two miniatures. Feeding, grooming, training, and cleaning the barn/stalls were all part of my daily routine. I also led trail rides for camp participants both adults and children as well as helping out with regular maintenance of said trails and pastures.
