Provided supplemental OT services to elementary students during reintegration back to schools. Temporary position.

Per diem inpatient acute rehab

Contracted to provide school-based occupational therapy services for elementary and middle school aged students in public school district. Position consists of evaluating, providing direct and consultative services, supervising multiple COTAs.

Conducted outpatient evaluations and provided treatment to children with various diagnoses/conditions including but not limited to Autism, brachial plexus injury, sensory-related feeding disorders, sensory processing issues, hemiplegia.

- POPULATION: birth to elderly, any types of diagnoses.- SERVICES PERFORMED INCLUDE: assistive technology evaluations, follow-up appointments, narrative reports and letters of medical necessity in the following areas: - Environmental evaluations for modifications/ADLs and safety (e.g. elopement, fall risk) - Computer access - Seating & mobility (manual and power wheelchair evaluations and follow ups for modifications) - Alternative positioning evaluations (standers, lift recliners, feeding seats, etc.) - Co-team with SLPs for AAC evaluations & consultations (determine access method, fabricate/recommend mounting, key guards, cases).
