Operations Supervisor

• Supervise 35 employees across two shifts including all coaching, disciplinary actions, purchasing, and planning • Onboard and lead Continuous Improvement program and successfully complete one SMART event every six weeks • Complete capacity plans and schedules for front end of the shop with a focus on OTD and improving efficiency• Develop and Manage Skill Based Pay certification program to incentivize hourly employees to learn new skills, cross train amongst different departments, and standardize pay agreements in a non-union facility• Train other engineers and employees in 6s, 6 sigma, process mapping, and LEAN manufacturing• Improve process control and certify compliance in NDT, Machine Shop, Deburr, Forge, Heat Treat, and Etch areas• Member of the Safety Committee
