Oversaw the operations and production of each multi-day event (7 events annually) within the AVON 39 series by planning, procuring, and managing the inventory of all event supplies, communications equipment, medical supplies, heavy equipment, and signage. Responsible for training, supervising, and developing on-event direct reports along with recruiting, hiring, and training a base of independent contract staff. Managed the execution of training manuals and on event policies and procedures, and worked with all team members (internally and externally) to ensure all production needs are being met to help all events work seamlessly together.Grew and expanded sponsorship development working directly with sponsors in creating programs that maximize goal of the sponsor’s investment. Oversaw team managing on-event sponsor deliverables and activations. Facilitated monthly forecasting and reclassifications for all seven markets along with invoice review and processing. Streamlined and updated financial policy and procedures and responsible for staff training and implementation of financial systems. Responsible for all staff related preparation, including staff assignments, transportation and flights, schedules, and on-event meals and meetings. Planned and managed each city’s load-in and load-out process of the event hotel, ceremonies site(s), campsite, and production lot.

Planned and produced the AVON 39 Walk to End Breast Cancer in the Boston Market. Responsible for all route permitting, securing vendors, creation of all site plans, and hotel relationships. Worked closely with five jurisdictions to adhere to specific policies and ensure the safety of all participants. Assisted with logistics for the other six event markets around the country.Helped plan and execute three Cycle for Survival events overseeing load-in and venue management for the event weekend.

Developed and implemented a community-wide crew and volunteer recruitment and retention plan, ultimately recruiting over 400 crew members, and 350 volunteers for the event. • Acted as primary contact and provided excellent customer service to crew members, volunteers and sponsors, handling all inbound and outbound communication. • Planned, and executed engaging pre-Walk events: Expo, Crew Training Day and Volunteer nights while staying within specified budgets. • Trained and logistically prepared all crew members and volunteers for the event, by facilitating meetings, training events and creating communications. • Negotiated and contracted local sponsor partnerships with organizations such as Massachusetts General Hospital and Fallon Ambulance. Ensured collaboration between key constituents to ensure the overall success of the Boston event.
