About Kara Hover

I am an occupational therapist with 2 years of experience in pediatrics. Since I was young, I knew I wanted to be an OT and work with children. I have taken on challenges throughout my life such as being a dance assistant with a blind student, being a special needs summer camp counselor, and being a PCA for twin teenage girls with developmental delays. I am driven to grow in my clinical skills and find new and creative ways to help children participate in their daily life. I believe that the earlier children get the support they need, the better their quality of life will be for the rest of their lives. I hope to positively impact the children and families I work with, in addition to contributing to the field of OT as a whole.
