My PhD field is a combination of management science and software engineering. I am particularly interested in Agile, Agile Methods, Peopleware and Performance Management.This is the area of focus for my PhD Thesis; I believe in the philosophy and ethos underpinning the agile software development movement and want to enable organisations to carry this further than just process for software development. I believe that people who work in agile environments deserve the same level of care and attention paid to their personal and professional development as those working in traditional organisations; through the process of my PhD research it is my aim to help this happen more effectively.—-After my role as an MIS Manager ended through redundancy, I took a break in my career and studied a degree in Business Information Systems at the University of East Anglia, obtaining a Starred First Class Hours Degree; I also won awards in 2016/17 and 2017/18 for the highest overall assessment in the degree of Business Information Systems at UEA.Having really connected with the academic experience, I applied to undertake a PhD and have been awarded full funding from the Faculty of Social Sciences for a Masters in Social Science Research Methods and a PhD at the University of East Anglia.At the same time I'm working for the awesome Neontribe, a software development company in Norwich that does awesome projects for social good and is generally a fantastic place to spend time making cool stuff for lovely people. https://www.neontribe.co.uk/
