Kenya

• Lead wrote three sections while running in-country coordination for a successfully funded $100,000,000 Development Food Security Award from USAID/Food for Peace. • Co-led collaborative design process with the Turkana and Samburu County Governments including facilitating workshops, meeting with officials, and soliciting constructive feedback to guide program design.

Gaza/Jerusalem

• Led the development and writing of concept notes and proposals for the Middle East Partnership Initiative, European Commission, and multiple private donors including development of initial logframes. Topics included remedial education for elementary students, job creation, cross-border economic development, and WASH. • Provided desk support for the development of a complex USAID proposal including managing the collection of needed inputs for seven partners, developing the capacity statement, and desk research. • Coordinated the development of proposals in partnership with local and international partners with Mercy Corps as prime and sub applicant. • Collected program impact information on individuals and groups through focus group discussions and beneficiary interviews for stories and reports. • Coordinated and wrote reports for USAID involving multiple departments and sub-grantees on a semi monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. During the summer 2014 conflict, coordinated daily reporting on all emergency response activities for internal and external use. • Represented Mercy Corps with donors and at local coordination meetings.

Yemen
