I worked very hard in high school, achieving a 4.3 GPA, a 32 ACT, and acceptance to Northeastern University. I transferred in 2018 due to monetary reasons, as I had a Zell Miller scholarship granting me a full ride at any public school in Georgia. I then attended Georgia State. I worked throughout college and proudly graduated with no debt, experiencing a balance of work and studies. My classes additionally prepared me for the workforce upon graduation. The Introduction to Research Design and Data Analysis allowed me to have higher level skills regarding researching tasks, especially encompassing those related to policy. I also studied with a concentration on data analysis and statistics. Public speaking aided me as well because it allows me to be able to talk in an assertive and leadership-oriented manner where I am able to communicate efficiently and effectively when needed.My most recent job was as a marketing outreach coordinator and data entry specialist. I worked for a non-profit specializing in advocacy for addiction and mental health issues, with a special interest in those of the LGBTQ and BIPOC communities. I was able to learn website building through WordPress, along with consistent SEO work and data analysis. I further completed countless hours of outreach to other websites, in hopes that they would link with ours. When I had extra time, I also wrote informational articles for our website that required extensive research.
