Working at a green tech company as quite literally the best office manager in the state of Texas and possibly the continental US. I do so many random things, but my primary responsibilities include facilities management, HR and IT related tasks, party planning, and keeping a motley crew of around 80 employees happy.

Responsible for production related travel bookings for all producers, cast and crew members with maximum discretion - including flights, hotels, limo service, and rental vehicles - generating and submitting purchase orders to accounting for vendor fees, generating and submitting check requests for travel related expenses, maintaining production files, shuttling cast and crew members as needed, coordinating rental vehicle repairs and maintenance, special requests for cast members, being the in-person contact for all producers, cast, crew and vendors in regards to any issues that may arise before or during travel including missed flights or flight cancelations and re-bookings, and liaising between production team members and our vendors.

Provided administrative and personal assistance to the production team - the director, assistant directors, writers and producers – including note taking, running errands, distribution of pertinent show documents, submitted relevant episodic information to the Directors Guild of America, updated workers comp and loss and damage files, assisted with deliveries and office maintenance, inventoried production assets, implemented new COVID procedures, organized daily lunch, inspected office for security and safety, and performed general office duties such as answering phones, tidying office space, and ordering and replenishing supplies.

Provided project consultation and coordination services to clients in the Austin and San Antonio area for green building standards including verification of homes for compliance with Energy Star and International Energy Conservation Code, researched and interpreted new green building programs, maintained company schedule and provide administrative support to employees in the field.

Responsible for managing multiple accounts within the Austin and San Antonio area for Energy Star, LEED, and International Energy Conservation Code compliance as well as our Post Construction Quality Assurance program. Oversee payroll, scheduling and hiring of Post Construction Quality Assurance inspectors.

A Permit Technician is responsible for answering general questions concerning building permits, general building codes and town ordinances, processing and receiving payment for permits, coordinating inspections, answering a high volume of phone and email inquiries, developing and implementing policies, problem solving as well as general administrative duties.

The Tax Clerk provides customer service, processes vehicle registration and title work, processes property tax payments, maintains knowledge of vehicle tax law and property tax law, performs light data entry, cashiers, answers phone inquiries and performs general administrative duties.
