SLPA and Owner of Speech Muse LLC. I have always enjoyed working with children and have over 15 years of experience in childcare. I knew speech therapy was where I belonged after watching a session on YouTube. I instantly fell in love with the profession and after my first day interning I knew this was my passion. I believe play is the best way to teach children and build a connection. I am a neurodiversity-affirming, play-based therapist, as well as an AAC advocate providing training/coaching to families with TouchChat, NovaChat, and Proloquo systems.I am very passionate about accessible and exceptional healthcare/mental health services for minorities and those with disabilities. I look forward to continuing to diversify the field of Speech and Language and eventually become an SLP in the near future.
