I worked alongside Imogen, where I undertook a variety of administrative and creative tasks that aided her in the successful running of her business. My main work involved compiling customer and sample orders, producing press packs and making cushions for orders and press requests. I also took on some product styling and photography for her website and social media and organised stockist and competitor lists using Excel.

Working at Occipinti allowed me to gain an insight into the day to day running of an interior textile design business. My main responsibilities included making projects and writing posts for the website’s blog, trend research, scheduling social media posts using Buffer for Facebook and Twitter and compiling mailers using Mail Chimp. I also updated the website with new products and descriptions, compiled product specification sheets using In Design and managed client lists using Excel.

My main resonsibilities as a Student Ambassor were to communicate with prospective students and offer tours and information for the textiles department.

I worked with paper cutting artist Claire Brewster, assisting with tasks such as hand cutting her paper artwork, as well as sorting and scanning projects.

As a Sales Advisor, I assisted customers on matching colours, patterns and fabrics for interior products, managed customer orders and worked effectively in a team to ensure the smooth running of the shop.
