My passion for change and diversity has led me through a journey of continuous learning and adaptability, from owning a small business to driving a taxi to mastering the art of teaching at the middle school level, aka taming velociraptors. As a seasoned educator with over two decades of experience in special education, math, and English, I bring a unique blend of expertise and passion to every role I undertake.I hold a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s in education with an emphasis on educational technology. My diverse skill set includes creating engaging curricula, developing innovative teaching strategies, leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences, and working with diverse teams of adults and teens alike.Beyond the classroom, I’ve enjoyed writing, performing, and engaging in TTRPGs (such as D&D), participating in and managing online communities. I thrive on creativity and storytelling, whether it’s through stand-up comedy or music. My love for hiking, kayaking, and travel keeps me grounded and inspired, fueling my passion for personal growth and new adventures.Currently, I am pivoting towards content creation, project management, and marketing, with a focus on mental health, personal growth, educational insights, and social justice. My goal is to create a meaningful impact that educates and resonates with diverse audiences.
