I am a conservation geneticist working with Oxford Nanopore's ORG.one conservation genomics program. This project supports conservation of highly threatened species by enabling reference genome generation and access to genomics resources.I previously worked at the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland and have a PhD from the University of Edinburgh. I have a particular interest in developing and applying molecular techniques to address real-world questions, with a passion for integration of genetic data into conservation. Nearly 15 years' experience in molecular laboratory techniques, bioinformatic and population genetic analyses with expertise in statistical analyses and data visualisation, particularly in R. Skilled in managing a diverse portfolio of projects in a highly collaborative environment. Experienced in disseminating results to various audiences through written reports and peer-reviewed publications, oral and poster presentations, workshops, and tailor-made training session.
