• Managed The Sun on Sunday magazine's charity partnerships and campaigns, such as a 2022 celebrity trek across the desert in Jordan which raised more than £85,000 for Jo's Cervical Cancer Trust - and increased awareness.
• Part of the cross-platform team behind Fabulous' 2021 Menopause Matters, which won a BSME Talent Award for Best Campaign - and sought to make HRT free for all women through the NHS and get a menopause policy in each.
• Worked with the picture and art teams to ensure page layouts were always visually compelling, and with the legal and subbing teams to ensure copy was to the highest possible standard.
• Wrote regular food and travel pieces for the publication.
• After completing a 12-month Diploma in Strategic Social Media Marketing during my own time over 2018, I also spent three months working across Fabulous’ social media channels - which then had more than 1 million total.

• Acted up in the Editor-in-Chief’s absence and signed off the magazine on press day.
• Strategised content across the title and managed relationships with all heads of department, ensuring deadlines were met and content was always in keeping with Fabulous’ tone and high production values.
• Edited cover interviews, fashion, features, beauty, columns, food / drink, health, homes, travel and commercial editorial, plus email newsletters.
• Came up with special issue and cover ideas, as well as headlines and copy lines.
• Motivated and mentored staff, managed budgets, resolved staffing issues, recruited new members of the team and oversaw the magazine’s entry into industry awards.

• Set up and wrote a range of front-of-book features for the The Sun, then the UK's biggest newsbrand with a monthly print and digital reach of 38.2 million.
• To the newspaper’s tight daily deadlines I produced everything from pop culture pieces, like an analysis of a record breaking Taylor Swift music video, to exclusive profile interviews, such as a sit down with Boris.
• Maintained and built upon the features desk's contacts book, filled with academics, celebrities, columnists, experts, freelance writers and government ministers.

• Ran the newspaper's features desk for several months while the department awaited its incoming Head of Features, subsequently stepped up in their absence and as a part of the desk's weekend editing rota.
• Worked up the daily features ideas list for the newspaper and its website, pitched them to the Editor and commissioned them to a large team of print and digital - plus freelance - writers before editing for both.
• Collaborated with the video team to create additional visual features content for the website.
• Worked on high profile campaigns such as Give Us Shelter with Women's Aid in 2015, which pressured the government to restore £5 million in cut funding to women’s refuges and was nominated for a Press Award.

• Brought in exclusive stories, ghost wrote expert pieces, negotiated celebrity and book buy-ups and sourced difficult case studies.
• Completed a foreign assignment to accompanied suicide centre Dignitas in Switzerland for a series I ran in support of making assisted dying legal in the UK.
• Oversaw all editorial and fixed interviews for a Sport Relief charity issue in 2014 alongside guest editor James Corden.

• After freelancing for the London Evening Standard - which then had a daily readership of 1.2 million Monday to Friday - for several years, alongside staff jobs at women’s magazines, beauty trade publications and an.
• Worked closely with the newspaper’s Art Director to come up with visually striking concepts for the London Life cover and on the look of the rest of the section.
