As head of digital, I developed and implemented the digital strategy for the British Council's U.S. operations, including websites, blogs, social media, and video content. I also co-managed the British Council's global blog and led a small global team who were working to bring best practice to the organization's social media use throughout our global operations. One year to the day after I started, I put the finishing touches on our redesigned website.The British Council is the UK's international organization for cultural relations.

As an intern and then research associate, I edited the OTI and MPI blogs and copy-edited newsletters, policy papers, and op-eds. I led the research, writing, and dissemination of the Washington, DC information community case study, with a particular focus on hyperlocal media. I introduced the use of content analysis as a methodology for that case study and those that followed, and I also proposed and organized the first panel discussion with local media professionals to launch the report’s release.

I copy-edited and coordinated the production schedule for more than 500 articles per publication cycle in both the endocrinology and allergy/immunology specialties.UpToDate publishes syntheses of the latest medical research written by expert physicians for use by medical practitioners at the point of care.
