To me, there is nothing more rewarding than primary prevention and being a part of cultivating a community’s well-being through empowering families. I deeply believe in the power that support, education, and access to resources and healthcare have in equipping individuals to achieve self-efficacy. My interpersonal, people-centric nature, and strong desire to develop others and problem solve have supported my work in public health nursing. Perinatal health, infant and family mental health, and global health are my areas of focus. The approach that I take in my work is holistic, community led, strengths based, and family centered.
