With 15+ years of experience spanning community outreach, nonprofit leadership, technical writing, and higher education, I have a proven track record of driving impactful change and fostering collaborations that make a difference.🎖️ A decorated veteran, I proudly served in the U.S. Air National Guard for six years, including a deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. My military role allowed me to contribute to both Search & Rescue and Homeland Defense missions, instilling in me a deep sense of duty, resilience, and teamwork. I’m honored to have received multiple military awards, including the Air Force Commendation Medal and National Defense Service Medal.Currently, I hold three impactful roles: - Founder & CEO, Cancer Wellness Institute: I developed evidence-based curricula that are transforming cancer coaching worldwide. My programs offer online training for cancer coaches and continuing education for certified health and life coaches. Approved by UKIHCA and HCANZA, these programs serve a global community, empowering coaches to support cancer patients on their wellness journeys. - Founder & Executive Director, Going Beyond the Pink: A nonprofit dedicated to supporting breast cancer patients and survivors through education, resources, and peer support. I lead strategic initiatives, program development, and community partnerships that provide essential services and advocacy for those affected by breast cancer. - Marketing & Communications Manager, National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS): I lead strategic communications initiatives that elevate the voices of cancer survivors and advocate for policy changes that improve their lives.
