Structural design engineer for Blue Origin working on the second stage of the New Glenn orbital launch vehicle. Responsible engineer for large secondary structure assemblies, interfacing with many vehicle subsystems. Owned hardware design from conceptual development and multiple stage-level configuration trade studies, through flight release. Presented design at the Critical Design Review for peer review and government customers.

Member of the Sponsorship and Chassis team for the 2015-2016 academic year, Chassis, Aerodynamics, and eTrain (electric powertrain) member and Resource Management lead for the 2016-2017 year. Member of the aerodynamics and public relations teams for the 2017 - 2018 academic year.Designed, tested and implemented a carbon fiber crash structure (impact attenuator) for the car as well as carbon fiber hardpoints for the 2016 - 2017 academic year. Also taught new members proper design and manufacturing techniques. Maintained a safe work environment for the team as Resource Management lead, as well as managed individual safety instruction requirements for every member on the team. Responsible for maintaining effective workflow and monitoring the team work practices for OSHA and EH&S compliance. Designed and manufactured a complex composite mold for a rain cover to protect components of the electric car from any amount of water. Also designed 3D printed sensor mounts for throttle pedal actuation, as well as assembled much of the accumulator (electric power system).Designed a a drag reduction system, mounted on the rear wing of the car to manipulate the aerodynamic package into a low downforce configuration in the 2017 - 2018 season.

Managing the help desk and aiding library patrons in any and all of their needs, including but not limited to checking out library materials, reserving study spaces on campus and helping answer any and all questions.

Responsible for running analysis regarding Boeing's contract with the NASA ACP program. Utilized LS-DYNA, HyperMesh, and LS-PrePost to determine analysis parameters, monitor data output and visualize carbon panel failure modes. Worked within Linux OS to study high energy dynamic impact events using projectiles and carbon fiber panels. This analysis informed physical testing performed at the NASA Glenn Research Center, where velocity inputs for the projectile were determined using computational analysis

Coordinating testing for experimental analysis of energy dissipation characteristics in composites structures including specimen preparation, Charpy and drop impact tests and data analysis. Also included interlaminar contact area verification utilizing MatLab and usage of microscopy techniques to photograph and analyze delamination in test specimens.
