I am currently an alumna of the University of Louisville with a Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering. I have a strong background in the fields of science, technology, and engineering; with a dedication and passion for lifelong learning.My main career focus is in the aerospace and additive manufacturing industries. I performed research for my masters project centered around additive manufacturing technologies.In 2011, I became one of the founding members of the University of Louisville's rocket team, River City Rocketry. The team came together to compete in NASA’s collegiate level rocketry competition called the University Student Launch Initiative. Our team worked with NASA engineers at the Marshall Spaceflight Center in Huntsville, AL to design, build and launch high-powered rockets. In the 2011-2012 competition, we received 5th place overall, as well as receiving the awards for “Best Rookie Team” and “Best Website”. In the 2012-2013 competition, the University of Louisville placed 2nd overall and received the awards for "Best Vehicle Design", "Best Website Design", and "Best Educational Outreach". For the two years that I participated, I held the titles of Safety Officer and Educational Outreach coordinator.
