For The Punks is a resource for creators and fans to connect, learn, and grow together. The Box Office Operations staff is responsible for assisting in venue set-up before doors and executing a functioning box office for each show. For the 2024 Beak & Skiff concert series, I helped work shows for touring artists like Jason Isbell, Shakey Graves, and Michael Franti. • Venue set up including but not limited to placing bike rack around venue perimeter, fencing, placing tents, hanging up signage, setting up box office, setting up chain link and scrim• Venue tear-down/clean up• Familiarized with the ticketing platform, Tixr• Managing a will-call/guest list • Managing/handling money• Assisting attendees with venue details and information• Managing volunteer staff• Create a welcoming environment for guests• VIP program coordination between box office and artist tour management as needed • Assistance with parking vehicles as needed • Assist hospitality runners with carrying out the rider where needed (catering, errands, etc.)
